PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of favorably, efficiently peeling a printed layer of a printed tape and a tacky adhesive layer from a peel-off material layer.SOLUTION: A printer is provided with: a roll housing part 4 housing a roll 3 winding a printed tape 3A in a roll shape; a platen roller 66 conveying the printed tape 3A; a print head 61 printing on a printed layer 3a; a peel-off plate 200 which is provided movably in a longitudinal direction at the front side of that direction from the platen roller 66, folds to a lower side, a peel-off material layer 3c among the printed tape 3A on which a print is formed, and peels off the printed layer 3a and a tacky adhesive layer 3b from the peel-off material layer 3c; a spring imparting a biasing force toward the front side of the longitudinal direction to the movably provided peel-off plate 200; a first discharge port 6A discharging the peeled printed layer 3a and the tacky adhesive layer 3b; a pinch roller 201 conveying the folded peel-off material layer 3c; and a second discharge port 6B discharging the conveyed peel-off material layer 3c outside a housing 2. |
