PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating isotropy of a radio wave reflection box capable of discriminating whether or not the radio wave reflection box has isotropy.SOLUTION: A directional antenna 5 and a transmission antenna 7A are provided inside a radio wave reflection box 1. The directional antenna 5 is mounted on a turn table 4, and arranged in a test area TV. A network analyzer 8 is connected with the directional antenna 5 and the transmission antenna 7A. A direction of the directional antenna 5 is set to a plurality of directions, and antenna efficiency is measured for every frequency to the respective directions of the directional antenna 5 by the network analyzer 8. Difference in the antenna efficiency attained depending on the directions of the directional antenna 5 is obtained for every frequency. It is determined whether or not isotropy is satisfied according to whether or not the difference in the antenna efficiency is within a predetermined range referring to a standard deviation &sgr; of the antenna efficiency. |
