PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic photoelectric conversion element high in mass productivity and causing no deterioration due to solder reflow.SOLUTION: An organic photoelectric conversion element includes: a substrate 2; a plurality of pixel electrodes 4 disposed to be spaced apart from each other on the substrate 2; an organic film 7 disposed in a continuous film on the plurality of pixel electrodes 4 and between the pixel electrodes 4 and including a photoelectric conversion layer; a counter electrode 8 disposed on the organic film 7; and a protective film 10 disposed on the counter electrode 8. In the organic photoelectric conversion element, the level difference between the upper face of each of the pixel electrodes 4 and a surface of the substrate 2 is 3 nm or more and 100 nm or less, the incline angle at an end of each of the pixel electrodes 4 is 10° or above and 90° or below, the internal stress of the protective film 10 is -600 MPa or more and less than -200 MPa, and the product of the film thickness of the protective film 10 and the internal stress is 40,000 MPa×nm or more and less than -14,000 MPa×nm. |
