PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate watching of a push button type auger switch and improve operability although a walking type snow remover employs a loop-shaped operation handle located right behind a console panel.SOLUTION: An auger switch arrangement surface 64 is positioned in a rear end of a console panel 61 and in a place recessed lower than a general operation surface 65. When removing snow falling and accumulating on the general operation surface 65, a hand for removing snow does not enter the auger switch arrangement surface 64 because the auger switch arrangement surface 64 is recessed. As a result, the hand does not come into contact with an auger switch 71 to push it. The auger switch arrangement surface 64 is located behind another operation member 73 and rearwardly-downward inclined more than the general operation surface 65. The auger switch arrangement surface 64 is rearwardly-downward inclined at a steeper angle than that of the general operation surface 65. Therefore, snow falling on the auger switch arrangement surface 64 flows down when the snow falls. |
