PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a galvanic protection method for underground pipelines, allowing a small-size and light-weight excavation machine to be used for excavation operation, which can be easily performed with reduced labor and time from inside a reinforced concrete structure, only requiring operation for carrying out excavated concrete at an insertion hole to be formed in a reinforced concrete wall; and an electrode device for galvanic protection.SOLUTION: The galvanic protection method for underground pipelines includes: an insertion hole forming step for forming the insertion hole for inserting the electrode device for galvanic protection in the reinforced concrete wall adjacent to an underground pipeline penetrating through the reinforced concrete structure, from inside of the reinforced concrete structure; a push-in step of inserting the electrode device for galvanic protection having a cone- or pyramid-shaped tip into the insertion hole formed in the insertion hole forming step and pressing the rear end of the electrode device for galvanic protection with pressing means such that the tip is pushed into the ground by a predetermined depth; and a connection circuit forming step of connecting the electrode device for galvanic protection to the underground pipeline so as to form a connection circuit for flowing protective current in the underground pipeline. |
