PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure comprising a hollow-cross section aluminum alloy extrusion, preventing local fractures or deterioration of energy absorbing performance without sacrificing weight reduction.SOLUTION: A reinforcing flange 7 connecting a pair of flanges 2 and 3 to each other is formed by selecting an area easy to cause a local loading or fracture of a frame structure 1, cutting and erecting the material of the flange 2 of the area only in the frame structure 1 itself to make a cut-and-erected piece 7b. The frame structure 1 is reinforced efficiently, easily and simply by the reinforcing flange 7 without deteriorating the intensity of the area in the frame structure 1. |
