PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the identification level of a discriminator to an optimum point, even if the signal waveform of a received signal varies.SOLUTION: An optical receiver includes a discriminator 103a of an object performing identification output by comparing a received signal with an identification level and setting an optimum point thereof, other discriminator 103b connected in parallel with the discriminator 103a, and performing identification output by comparing a received signal with an identification level, and a computing unit 107 performing variable control of the identification levels of the discriminator 103a and other discriminator 103b, respectively. As a state where the discriminator 103a is set at an initial predetermined identification level, the computing unit 107 calculates a pseudo error rate when obtaining the identification level of other discriminator 103b by variable scanning, and sets the identification level of the discriminator 103a within a range of a flat region where the error rate does not vary.
|
