PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume composition having a high reproducibility of the fragrance of Nymphaea caerulea and also having excellent palatability.SOLUTION: The Nymphaea caerulea-like perfume composition comprises (A) &bgr;-ionone, (B) &bgr;-ionol, and (C) &bgr;-phenylethyl alcohol, wherein a mass ratio of (2S)-4-(2,6,6-trimethyl-1-cyclohexenyl-1-yl)-3-butene-2-ol and (2R)-4-(2,6,6-trimethyl-1-cyclohexenyl-1-yl)-3-butene-2-ol in the (B) component is 9:1-3:2. |
