PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for efficient data transfer between storages.SOLUTION: A data size determination unit 421 of a transfer setting program 42 to be executed by a server 40 issues a request to data transfer unit 412 to transfer data of different sizes between a hard disk device 50 and an SSD 60 when a sequential load generation unit 422 causes a data access unit 411 of an OS 41 to issue a user request, and acquires transfer time required for data transfer in response to the request, from a latency monitoring unit 414. The data size determination unit 421 uses the transfer time acquired during the data transfers and data sizes in the data transfers, to specify the maximum size which is a unit of data transferred by the data transfer unit 412 between the hard disk device 50 and the SSD 60. |
