PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient and economical outset sliding door lock, installable in response to a rightward-pulling or leftward-pulling sliding door, by using the same constituting member, while simplifying carving-in for installing a key member in the sliding door.SOLUTION: The outset sliding door lock is composed of a lock body for storing a driving mechanism in a first case body and provided with a reciprocating slide member exposed from a through-window of a front face of the first case body, a lock member for storing a key part as a second case body and connected to the reciprocating slide member of the first case body and a decorative cover added to a second case body front face of the lock member and being a shape of covering the front face of a second case body of the lock member and the front face of the first case body of the lock body, and can be installed from the front face to the carving-in of a shape larger than the front face of the second case body of the lock member formed on a front face in a door end of the sliding door and smaller than the decorative cover. |
