PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipeline welding method using a gas purging fixture which can reduce a usage amount of inert gas.SOLUTION: Provided is a pipeline welding method using a gas purging fixture 3 which is disposed inside pipes 1 and 2, covers an inner peripheral surface side of a weld zone 4 of the pipes 1 and 2, and is filled with inert gas. In the pipeline welding method, a fixture support device 10 for drawing the gas purging fixture 3 closer to inner peripheral surfaces 1a and 2a of the pipes 1 and 2, from an outer peripheral surface side of the pipes 1 and 2 by magnetic force, is moved along outer peripheral surfaces 1b and 2b of the pipes 1 and 2 to move the gas purging fixture 3 along the inner peripheral surfaces 1a and 2a of the pipes 1 and 2, and then butt welding of the pipes 1 and 2 is carried out while sequentially covering the weld zone 4 of the pipes 1 and 2. |
