PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transmission and reception of constant amount of data, regardless of communication environment.SOLUTION: A communication device for radio communication with an opposite device determines a modulation multilevel number depending on a condition of a radio communication channel, compresses transmission data with a compression rate according to the modulation multilevel number so as to amount of transmission data becomes constant regardless of the modulation multilevel number, modulates the compressed data with the determined modulation multilevel number, and transmit the data. If the modulation multilevel number is the maximum modulation multilevel number, then the communication device does not compress the transmission data, modulates the uncompressed data with the maximum modulation multilevel, and transmits the data. |
