PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer which allows for reduction of the man-hour in the assembling of a bobbin for transformer, and to provide a bobbin for transformer.SOLUTION: A transformer 10 including a primary winding 40 and a secondary winding 50 further includes a core 20 formed of a magnetic material, and a bobbin 30 for transformer including a plurality of primary housing sections 34 provided with an insertion hole 32 for inserting the core 20, and in which the primary winding 40 is arranged, and a plurality of secondary housing sections 33 in which the secondary winding 50 is arranged. The plurality of primary housing sections 34 and the plurality of secondary housing sections 33 are provided integrally.
