<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comprehensively evaluate difficulty in view of expression and modulation of a music piece.SOLUTION: Section evaluating means 12 evaluates section difficulty. The section difficulty indicates difficulty of performing a section (e.g., a predetermined number of bars), which is a part of a music piece. The section evaluating means 12 divides a music piece into a plurality of sections, and evaluates the section difficulty for each of the plurality of sections. The section difficulty is evaluated according to a predetermined algorithm. Music evaluating means 13 evaluates music difficulty. The music difficulty indicates difficulty of performing the entire music piece. The music evaluating means 13 evaluates the music difficulty of the music piece depending on variations in the section difficulty of the music piece.</p> |
