<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processing device capable of reducing a processing load in a software processing unit and a time required for encoding, in comparison with a case when command issue and interruption notification are performed on a picture-by-picture basis.SOLUTION: When the operating mode of a hardware processing unit 12 is set to be a high-speed mode, a software processing unit 11 notifies the hardware processing unit 12 of setting information related to an output picture, before the hardware processing unit 12 starts encoding an input picture. Based on the setting information notified from the software processing unit 11, the hardware processing unit 12 executes the encode of the output picture continuously by omitting a picture-by-picture completion notification. On completion of encoding a specified number of output pictures thoroughly, the hardware processing unit 12 notifies the software processing unit 11 of the completion of the encode by interruption.</p> |
