<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact zoom lens configured to suppress changes in imaging magnification and to reduce the weight of a lens system of a focus group, thereby reducing load on a focus driving system.SOLUTION: A zoom lens includes, in order from the object side, a positive first lens group G1, a negative second lens group G2, a positive third lens group G3, a negative fourth lens group G4, and a negative fifth lens group G5. In varying the magnification from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, the lens groups are moved so that a distance between the first lens group and the second lens group is increased and a distance between the second lens group and the third lens group is reduced. The zoom lens is focused by moving a focus group, which is the negative lens group arranged closer to an image surface than a diaphragm, toward the image surface, to satisfy the following conditional expression.</p> |
