<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus in which it is suppressed that ink mist is attached to a fan of a mist collecting mechanism.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus 1 includes: a fan 81 which generates an air current in a main duct 82; and a mist collecting duct 91 which sucks air around a print head 10 and collects ink mist contained in the air. A main duct 82 and a mist collecting duct 91 are connected to each other at a position on the downstream side in the air current rather than the fan 81. A pressure in the air current at the connection position where the main duct 82 and the mist collecting duct 91 are connected to each other is set lower than a predetermined pressure and, thereby, air is sucked from the mist collecting duct 91 to collect ink mist contained in the air.</p> |
