PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission capable of reducing tooth-striking noise between external teeth of a pinion shaft and internal teeth of a rotary section.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission 1 includes: a first belleville spring 21 for biasing a pinion shaft 7 so as to move the pinion shaft to one side along the rotation center axis P1; and a second belleville spring 22 for biasing the shaft so as to move the shaft to the other side. An external tooth 7a of the pinion shaft 7 and an internal tooth 6b of a rotary disc 6 are configured as a helical gear so that an axial force of moving the pinion shaft 7 in a direction opposite to a biasing direction of the first belleville spring 21 is generated when the pinion shaft 7 rotates to one side relative to the rotary disc 6, and an axial force of moving the pinion shaft 7 in a direction opposite to a biasing direction of the second belleville spring 22 is generated when the pinion shaft relatively rotates to the other side. |
