PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot for constant velocity joint for improving circulation property of encapsulated lubricant.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a large diameter end part 52 installed at an opening end of an outer race 18, a small diameter end part 54 installed at an input shaft 12 arranged to extend from an inner race 20, and a bellows part 56 in which a crest part 58 and a trough part 60 are formed in an alternative continuous manner and diameter of which is reduced from the large diameter end part 52 toward the small diameter end part 54. The bellows part 56 is made such that one wall thickness gradually increased in a circumferential direction and the other wall thickness gradually decreased are periodically arranged, so that lubrication of lubricant in the case where a joint angle at a joint 10 is relatively large can be made superior under a pumping action attained by an axial periodical motion of the bellows part 56 along with rotation of the joint 10. That is, it is possible to provide a boot 50 for improving circulation property of encapsulated lubricant. |
