PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base tread rubber composition for a tire for a heavy load, in which high mileage property, heat ageing resistance, wear resistance and rubber strength are improved in a good balance, and to provide a tire for a heavy load manufactured by using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: The base tread rubber composition for a tire for a heavy load comprises: a modified natural rubber that is highly purified and adjusted to a pH of 2 to 7; and carbon black and/or a white filler. |
