<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of an apparatus with a touch panel.SOLUTION: In an electronic apparatus comprising a display unit provided with a touch panel, a pointer P for position designation is displayed on a screen of the display unit, a whole area of the touch panel functions as a virtually transparent touch pad, and operation processing including control of the display position of the pointer P in the display unit corresponding to an input operation to the touch panel is performed while an operation mode is switched to a prescribed operation mode. It is not necessary to perform display to clearly indicate the virtual touch pad on the screen of the display unit, and there is no chance that an operable screen area is reduced or a part of a plurality of icons etc. allocated on the screen is hidden.</p> |
