PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily illuminate a subject by effectively utilizing a display area.SOLUTION: A detection unit 110 detects a subject from a captured image captured by an imaging unit 200, and on the basis of the result, a display control unit 120 sets a first display area in which the subject is displayed and a second display area as at least part of a display area other than the first display area directed in a direction in which the subject is illuminated in a display area of a display unit 130, and changes at least one of luminance and color temperature of display in the second display area.
