The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an optical extraction substrate for an organic light emitting diode and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing an optical extraction substrate for an organic light emitting diode, capable of improving entire light emitting efficiency of an organic light emitting diode by improving extraction efficiency of light emitted from the organic light emitting diode. The method of the present invention includes: a water glass coating step of coating water glass on substrate glass; a water glass heat treatment step of heat treating the coated water glass; a water glass removing step of removing the heat treated water glass; and a smooth layer forming step of forming a smooth layer including frit glass on the substrate glass from which the water glass is removed, wherein unevenness is formed on the surface of the substrate glass through the water glass heat treatment step.
