PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which when an analysis region or a detection line is re-designated every time a display range of a captured image is changed, a user is forced to perform complicated processing.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus has: a setting part which sets a first figure used to determine a range to perform detection processing detecting a subject within an imageable range of imaging means for imaging a captured image and sets a display range of the captured image to be displayed to display means within the imageable range; and a determination part which determines a second figure included in the display range where the number of apices is equal to or smaller than the number of apices of the first figure as a region to perform the detection processing when one of the apices of the first figure set within the imageable range is set outside the display range and the other apices of the first figure are set within the display range. |
