PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indenter unit having simple constitution and besides, capable of detecting indentation depth of an indenter into a test piece, and a hardness testing machine.SOLUTION: In an indenter unit 50 including an indenter 21, a displacement detector 54 and an abutting member 55, an indenter shaft 44 is inserted into a prescribed position of a turret and connected to an engaging member 45, so that indenter is mounted on the turret. Hereby, fitting of the displacement detector 54 to a hardness tester can be performed together with fitting of the indenter 21 to the turret. |
