PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method capable, while inhibiting the appreciation of printing cost and the exacerbation of printing efficiency, of avoiding entrapments of air in-between the surface of a blanket for printing, the surface of a printing original plate, and the surface of a printing target.SOLUTION: On an occasion for pressing, onto a printing original plate 10 coated with an ink 2, a blanket for printing 20 consisting of an elastomer progressively tapered toward the distal end thereof according to the provided printing method 100, the descending speed is retarded the most at the time of the contact of the distal end of the blanket for printing 20 with the printing original plate 10, and the descending speed is accelerated in accordance with the progress of the pressing. Moreover, on an occasion where the blanket for printing 20 is pressed onto a printing target 30, the descending speed is likewise retarded the most at the time of the contact of the distal end of the blanket for printing 20 with the printing target 30, and the descending speed is accelerated in accordance with the progress of the pressing. |
