PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink etc. capable of improving a heat dissipation effect even when a size is reduced.SOLUTION: A heat sink 9 comprises a mounting part where a light source 8 is mounted and radiates heat emitted from the light source 8, the mounting part being formed at one end of the heat sink 9. The volume of the heat sink 9 in a first area including the other end of the heat sink 9 is larger than that in a second area including the one end of the heat sink 9, and the surface area of the heat sink 9 in the first area is smaller than that in the second area.
