摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge chip short-circuit detection method, a chip, an ink cartridge and a recording facility for optimizing a short-circuit detection method of a terminal on an ink cartridge chip.SOLUTION: An ink cartridge chip 2 having a circuit board 201 on which at least two connection terminals 210-270 are arranged comprises: a detection terminal 301 which is arranged on the circuit board adjacent to the connection terminals at a predetermined distance interval; a short-circuit detection part which is electrically connected to the detection terminal and/or the connection terminals, and for determining whether or not short-circuit exists between the detection terminal and the connection terminals based on variation of an electric signal on the detection terminal and/or the connection terminals; and a short-circuit control part which is connected to the short-circuit detection part, and performs short-circuit abnormality processing when existence of the short-circuit is detected.</p>
