<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel peptide expected to be usable over a long period of time which is derived from human sequence and has a function equivalent to exendin-4.SOLUTION: A peptide promotes secretion of insulin and suppresses increase of blood sugar level, being expressed by P-P-X (where Pis a peptide of an amino acid sequence consisting of a specified sequence, and Pis a peptide consisting of ten or less amino acids, or a binding, and X is -H or -NH). A preferable example is glucagon-4 in which amino acids are replaced from SQ to GE in position 2 and position 3 of glucagon and oxyntomodulin-4 in which amino acids are replaced from SQ to GE in position 2 and position 3 of oxyntomodulin.</p> |
