<p>Provided is a method of controlling a hybrid-battery energy storage system (BESS) using a DC-link voltage comprising: setting battery charging and discharging, and normal, low, and high voltages for a DC link capacitor for determining whether power is to be supplied to a system and a load; measuring a DC link voltage of the DC link capacitor inside the hybrid-BESS; comparing the measured DC link voltage with a preset voltage; and performing operation control by classifying the measured DC link voltage in one of an interval between normal and high voltages, an interval lower than the normal voltage and higher than the low voltage, and an interval higher than the high voltage or lower than or equal to the low voltage, and determining charging and discharging of the battery, whether power is supplied to the system and the load, and whether the system operates.</p> |
