PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverse wavelength dispersion retardation film allowing easy adjustment of an optical characteristic thereof, and an organic light emitting device capable of realizing a display excellent in image quality.SOLUTION: A retardation film includes: a first optical anisotropic layer including a polymer material; and a second optical anisotropic layer including a liquid crystal material. When, in the total first and second optical anisotropic layers, nx0 refers to the refractive index in the direction where the in-plane refractive index is largest, i.e., the slow axis, ny0 refers to the refractive index in the direction where the in-plane refractive index is smallest, i.e., the fast axis, and nz0 refers to the refractive index in the thickness direction perpendicular to nx0 and ny0, then the angle between the fast axis of the first optical anisotropic layer and the slow axis of the second optical anisotropic layer is adjusted such that the refractive indices satisfy 0<(nx0-nz0)/(nx0-ny0)<1 and that in-plane retardation values (Re0) of the total first and second optical anisotropic layers satisfy Re0(450 nm)<Re0(550 nm)<Re0(650 nm). |
