PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can effectively prevent leakage to the outside even in a case of impending incontinence or the like where a large amount of excretion liquid is excreted at one time, and can generally exhibit an expected leakage prevention property without largely spoiling the leakage prevention property even when the absorbent article is attached with deviation in a longitudinal direction from a proper position on underwear in a case where the absorbent article is attached to the underwear.SOLUTION: An absorbent core 11 includes a projection part 11p projecting to the skin side on a surface facing the skin side in the thickness direction. The projection part 11p is formed in an annular shape surrounding the central part in the longitudinal direction in the absorbent core 11 and includes a pair of straight parts 11P1, 11P2 arranged side by side in the width direction which are parallel in the longitudinal direction as each end in the width direction of the projection part 11p. A leakage prevention wall part is provided along the longitudinal direction on the surface facing the skin side in the thickness direction of a body part, and a rising start position where the leakage prevention wall part starts to rise from the surface is set at the position corresponding to the straight parts. |
