PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket, a printing method, and a display unit and an electronic apparatus which increase the degree of freedom of selection of a solvent to be used for an ink solution, and achieve high-quality patterning.SOLUTION: A blanket 1 has a structure in which a sacrificial layer 12 composed of a material that is insoluble in a solvent used for an ink solution, in which a functional material forming an ink layer A is dissolved, is stacked on a releasable base 11, and is used for formation by plate printing. In the plate printing, for example, reverse offset printing, the ink layer A is formed on the blanket 1, and then the ink layer A is made into contact with a removal plate 2 (reverse printing plate), and a pattern (a streak section A') left on the blanket 1 is contact-transferred from the blanket 1 to a printing substrate to perform printing. |
