摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type synchronous motor of an outer rotor type of which the torque density/output density is more increased.SOLUTION: The permanent magnet type synchronous motor of the outer rotor type comprises: stators 2A and 2B including armatures fixed to a fixing shaft 23 directly or via a support member 22 of a non-magnetic substance; and rotors 3A and 3B including magnetic fields formed from permanent magnets on an inner surface of a bracket 4 supported through a bearing member 5 to the fixing shaft 23 in a rotatable manner. On an outer-diameter-side radial surface of the armatures 2A and 2B and both-side axial surfaces of the armatures 2A and 2B, the rotors 3A and 3B are disposed oppositely via air gaps G1-G3, respectively, revolving magnetic fields to be the same polarity spatially and temporally are generated from the armatures 2A and 2B, and magnetic fields to be the same polarity spatially are generated from the rotors 3A and 3B. Torque and rotation output in the same rotational direction are obtained by three air gaps including the air gap at the radial surface side and the two air gaps of the axial surfaces.</p>
