<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that is able to reduce the stress of a stator coil, generated at the end of a stator iron core during the short circuit of the rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 100 includes a cylindrical stator 23 and a rotor 24 rotatably supported inside the stator 23. The stator 23 includes: a plurality of stator iron cores 1 arranged in the axial direction of the stator 23; stator coils 4(4, 4) accommodated in slots 20 provided in the stator iron cores 1; and a stator frame 25. The stator iron cores 1 are arranged in the axial direction of the stator 23. The stator coils 4 are accommodated in the slots 20 provided in the stator iron cores 1. A reinforcement 6 is arranged between the stator coil 4and the stator iron core 1a located furthest outside in the axial direction of the stator 23 among the stator iron cores 1, and juts out in the axial direction of the stator 23 from the end of the stator iron core 1a.</p> |
