<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an electric motor that can reliably suppress vibration of the electric motor at deceleration of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The control device for an electric motor is provided with: an electric motor 2 connected to a drive shaft of a vehicle; a power converter 3 that converts DC currents supplied from a battery 7 into AC currents and supplies the currents to the electric motor; a capacitor 4 for smoothing voltages of the DC currents; a discharge circuit 5 that, when power supply from the battery to the power converter is stopped, discharges the power accumulated in the capacitor; and a control device 6 that, when discharging the capacitor at deceleration of the vehicle, controls the discharge circuit so that voltages of the capacitor do not fall below the voltages of the electric motor.</p> |
