<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow video data transmitted by a video transmitter to be recorded at a high-quality state suitable for image display capability a video receiver has.SOLUTION: A video transmitter connected with a plurality of video receivers via a prescribed communication interface includes: communication means for communicating with the video receivers via the prescribed communication interface; determination means that obtains authentication information including image display capability from the plurality of video receivers connected via the communication means, and on the basis of the obtained authentication information, determines if there is a device having a video recording function among the plurality of video receivers; and transmission means that, if there is a device having the video recording function as the result of determination by the determination means, transmits video data suitable for image display capability of the device having the video recording function to the video receiver connected via the communication means.</p> |
