<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut-off device capable of lifting and lowering a water stop by a small power and having high cut-off performance.SOLUTION: A support member 1 is provided with a lifting/lowering chain 13 wound around an upper sprocket 11 arranged at an upper end of the support member 1 and wound around a lower sprocket 12 arranged at a lower end thereof, and a side part of a water stop is fixed to the lifting/lowering chain 13. When the lifting/lowering chain 13 is driven to lower the water stop 3, tensile force attracted to the lower sprocket 12 is generated on a lowering side of the lifting/lowering chain 13, and thereby the water stop 3 is drawn downward and can be brought into pressure contact with a floor face. Accordingly, it is not necessary to increase the weight of the water stop 3, the water stop 3 can be lifted and lowered by a small power and cut-off performance is improved.</p> |
