PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film scanning device capable of satisfactorily taking out an image fixed to a film, even in a case where the film has been stored for long years.SOLUTION: The film scanning device comprises a rotating drum 11 which is cylindrical, whose side surface of the cylinder transmits light therethrough and allows a film 91 disposed thereon, and which rotates about the central axis of the cylinder; a light source 12 which emits light toward at least a portion of the side surface of the rotating drum 11; and a camera 13 which receives the light emitted from the light source 12 and having passed through the rotating drum 11 and the film 91 disposed on the rotating drum 11. |
