PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a body to be discharged sent from the upstream side coming into contact with nozzles as much as possible, without increasing the size of a liquid discharge head in an array direction.SOLUTION: An ink jet head 4 has nozzle arrays 44y, 44c, 44m for discharging color ink, and nozzle arrays 44k1-44k6 for discharging black ink. Four nozzles 42 located at ends of the black nozzle array 44k6 and the color nozzle arrays 44y2, 44c2, 44m2 respectively, in which, on a conveyance direction downstream side, the positions of the nozzles 42 coincide with each other, are arranged in a state where the positions in the conveyance direction are aligned with each other, in the positions further on the conveyance direction downstream side than the nozzles 42 at the ends of the other nozzle arrays 44. On the conveyance direction upstream side, the nozzle 42 located at the end of the nozzle array 44k1 is arranged in the position further upstream side in the conveyance direction than the nozzles 42 at the ends of the other nozzles 44. |
