PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver confirmation device which can improve safety of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A driver confirmation device (1) includes: face image acquisition means (3) for acquiring a face image of a driver of a vehicle (101); extraction means (7) for extracting a face direction and/or a visual line direction of the driver on the basis of the face image acquired by the face image acquisition means during stopping of the vehicle; and first determination means (7) for determining whether or not the face direction and/or the visual line direction extracted by the extraction means exist within a preset visual recognition range in which a passenger of the vehicle can be visually recognized. |
