PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing breakage of a contacting spring or other components when a terminal is transported or inserted in a housing.SOLUTION: The connector comprises: a substrate insertion chamber 9 in which a substrate 10 can be inserted; terminal housing chambers 3, 4 arranged on both sides of the substrate insertion chamber 9 across partition walls 93, 94: a housing 5 having openings 91, 92 for springs provided on the partition walls 93, 94; box parts 21 housed in the terminal housing chambers 3, 4; and a terminal 2 having a contacting spring 22 whose one end is fixed to the box part 21. The housing 5 is provided with lances 51, 52 elastically deforming the contacting spring 22, pushing it to a position projecting nearer the substrate insertion chamber 9 than the openings 91, 92 for the springs, and locked with the terminal 2 at a position at which the insertion of the terminal housing chambers 3, 4 is completed. |
