PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid damage of a battery pack caused by intrusion of electric equipment, even when a load applied by lateral collision is large, in a vehicle body structure of an automobile in which the battery pack is mounted on an inner side in a vehicle width direction and the electric equipment is mounted on an outer side in the vehicle width direction being a lateral region of the battery pack.SOLUTION: A vehicle body structure of an automobile includes: a floor panel 3; a No.1 seat cross member 5 disposed along a vehicle width direction of the floor panel 3; a battery pack 2 mounted on a center lower part in the vehicle width direction of the floor panel 3; and an electric hot water heater 9 mounted on an outer side in the vehicle width direction of the battery pack 2. The No.1 seat cross member 5 is provided with a weak part 54 at a position in the vehicle width direction located between the battery pack 2 and the electric hot water heater 9. |
