PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine, capable of suppressing an increase in the manufacturing cost and the management cost, and of improving the working efficiency during assembly and repair.SOLUTION: The fuel injection device for the internal combustion engine includes an injector group consisting of a plurality of pairs of first and second injectors 8, 8 one of which each have an identical connector part 22 with the other, and provided with one pair corresponding to each of a plurality of cylinders 3, a first injector driver 11a for controlling the drive of one of the pairs of first and second injectors 8, 8, the first injector driver 11a having a failure detection function for detecting a failure of one of them, and a second injector driver 11b for controlling the drive of the other of the pairs of first and second injectors 8, 8, similarly to one of them, the second injector driver 11b having a failure detection function for detecting a failure of the other. At least one of a first wire 16a and a first connector 17a of first connection means can be visibly distinguished from a second wire 16b and a second connector 17b of second connection means. |
