PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switching device for optical access protection capable of repairing a fault without communication interruption even in the case where the fault occurs in an optical switch or an optical switch control section.SOLUTION: An optical switch module comprises: a multicore optical fiber removable connector for ONU; a multicore optical fiber removable connector for redundant system OSU connected with a redundant system OSU 12; an optical switch 32 for connecting any one of ports of the multicore optical fiber removable connector for ONU and the multicore optical fiber removable connector for redundant system OSU; an electric connector 44 for a control line to which an instruction to switch the connection of the optical switch 32 is inputted; and an optical switch control section 31 for controlling the port of the multicore optical fiber removable connector for ONU connected to the multicore optical fiber removable connector for redundant system OSU for the optical switch 32 in response to the instruction inputted from the electric connector 44 for the control line.
