PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, by targeting a vessel for performing a molten pig iron pretreatment within a kiln/furnace lined with refractory building bricks, above all a cupola pot, torpedo ladle, etc., a refractory mortar excellent in terms not only of corrosion resistance against slag but also of adhesiveness to refractory bricks.SOLUTION: The provided refractory mortar is a refractory mortar using a refractory composition consisting of a silicon carbide ingredient, a carbon ingredient, and a titania ingredient wherein 90 mass% to 98.5 mass% of the silicon carbide ingredient, 1 mass% to 5 mass% of the carbon ingredient, and 0.5 mass% to 5 mass% of the titania ingredient are included with respect to 100 mass% of the refractory composition and wherein 0.1 mass% to 1.0 mass% of a dispersant is further added thereto in terms of outer percentage. |
