PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power supply device suitable for supplying power which is supplied from a power unit, to a power supply plug receptacle provided in a vehicle while using a charging cable.SOLUTION: A vehicle power supply device 100 comprises: a charging cable 110 including a charging cable body 112 which can be connected to a power supply plug 111, and supplying power which is supplied from a power unit, to the charging cable body; a charging cable accommodation mechanism 120 capable of accommodating at least a part of the charging cable body; a main panel 130 which forms an accommodation space S incorporating the charging cable accommodation mechanism, and includes a lead-out opening O through which the power supply plug can be led out; a power supply plug support mechanism 140 capable of receiving and supporting the power supply plug; a cover mechanism 150 which closes the lead-out opening so as to be opened/closed; and a detection mechanism 160 which outputs a detection signal indicating a state of the vehicle power supply device. When the detection signal indicates that the state of the vehicle power supply device is a predetermined state, power supply from the power unit to the power supply plug is inhibited. |
