摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detector for a vehicle power supply system including two power supply lines, capable of appropriately detecting occurrence of either a failure in a current sensor detecting a charge/discharge current of a battery connected to one of the power supply lines or detachment of a terminal of the battery.SOLUTION: In a power supply system 1, a power supply ECU 41 determines whether an output value of a current sensor 13 detecting a charge/discharge current of a battery 7 connected to a power supply line 3 changes as an ignition coil 31 connected to a power supply line 5 consumes electric power if a switch 45 is turned on to connect the two power supply lines 3 and 5. If determining that the output value does not change, the power supply ECU 41 determines that an abnormality occurs, that is, either a failure in the current sensor 13 or detachment of a terminal of the battery 7 occurs. If the switch 45 is turned off, the power supply ECU 41 detects the abnormality by changing a power generation voltage of an alternator 17 connected to the power supply line 3 and determining whether the output value of the current sensor 13 changes.</p>
