PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-mold molding method whereby, even when there are variations in the elongation of a transfer film, it is possible to stabilize the suction state of the transfer film, reduce the poor appearance of a molded product and the positional deviation of a pattern or the like, and improve the yield of the molded product requiring a highly stretchable transfer film.SOLUTION: In an in-mold molding process, after a transfer film 5 is brought into a cavity 8 of a second mold 2 by vacuum suction, a distance between the transfer film 5 and the second mold 2 is measured.
