PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially stretched film excellent in heat resistance and an electrical insulation property, and durability of insulating characteristics.SOLUTION: A biaxially stretched film for metal deposition contains a thermoplastic polyether ketone resin as a main component. A thermal shrinkage at 200°C for 10 minutes is 6.0% or less in both of longitudinal direction and lateral directions, and a thickness is 0.3μm or more and 7.0μm or less.
